Our first Christmas party
We hosted our first Christmas party with all of our friends and it was a blast. I spent two days cooking, cleaning and baking but I think it all paid off in the end. Recipe madness
So I LOVE cooking and I am obsessed with recipes. I get a few cooking magazines and tear out all the ones I want to try but it is getting out of hand. Now that I have an Ipad I want to download a recipe application to start organizing all of these so I don’t have to go through a HUGE binder and mess with a bunch of paper. Anyone have any Apps that you can recommend?
Who knew trying to plan a trip to Europe would be so hard! Where to go, how much will it cost, on our own or with a tour?!?!?! AAGH Anyone have any tips?

Learning photography!
I have gotten an interest in photography. Well I have always loved taking pictures but now I am trying to really learn it. Ive only taken 2 small classes but hope to take more soon! Here are a few shots I have gotten!

Operation window treatments a success! I have waited 3 years to finally get professional window treatments in our living room and I am so excited! The bachelor pad curtains have had their time, it is time to move on!

I loved her evening gown. I may love it so much because it looks alot like my wedding dress! It makes me feel pretty good!!
I did not get up at 4am but i did set my DVR and I got up 30 minutes earlier than normal so I could fast forward to see all the key parts. The dress was the #1 thing I wanted to see! I thought the dress was really beautiful. I was expecting something very unique and different but I think this fit her personality and the event perfectly. Well tonight I went to Coast for sushi with Mike. I am not a huge fan of sushi but I am trying to broaden my horizons and try more. I have a hard time getting passed uncooked fish. I love fish and honestly I think sushi tastes good but I just have to fight the thoughts of it being uncooked and the texture of it. Tonight I went all out and let Mike pick everything we ate. Zumba!
So I bought Zumba for the wii as an alternate fun way to work out. It is alot of fun but really hard to learn. There really isn’t a way to learn the dances they just jump right into a 20min workout and its hard. So I got rear ended today, literally a block from my house. I’m fine and the car just got a few scratches/scrapes from the guys bumper. I was stopped at a stoplight and apparently he was turned around yelling at his kids and ran into me. I just asked him for his insurance and he kept saying sorry and then he started freaking out. He kept kicking the curb then saying sorry, then kicking...
So Mike got an email from one of his friends for 6 bottles of wine for $0.02 which included all shipping and handling. I thought for sure it was a scam. Mike looked into it and said it was totally legit but that it was just 1/2 bottles instead of full bottles. Well they arrived today… not a scam per say but just to give you a comparison in the back is a normal bottle of wine, these bottles...
It’s funny how your body changes. In highschool and college I could got out several nights in a row and I would feel like a million bucks the next morning…. now I feel like crap the entire day. This weekend I went out both nights, I had a great time but I can not believe how awful I feel! I guess good times come with a price!

My best friend sent me this beautiful little package in the mail. It was filled with cute earrings and bracelets!
I also got a new IPOD doc for my new I touch thanks to my in laws! Its perfect for my desk at the office to get me through the day!
My girls dinner crew gave me cash to go shopping with! Cant go wrong there!
