DIY Hot Chocolate Jars
I made the above for friends, family and coworkers. Its a great little gift to hand out for the holidays! I got the jars at a wholesale store for super cheap and then I just bought some ribbon and gift tags.
Recipe:
8 quarts powdered milk (1box)
21 oz Nestle Powder Mix
11 oz coffee creamer
1/2lb powdered sugar (can use up to 1)
Mix it all together in a bowl and tada you have hot...

So when my parents arrived with our presents our tree really filled up. When we combined our gifts, parents gifts and nieces and nephews gifts we had no room left! It was such a great weekend. The food turned out great (I will post that later), we all got wonderful gifts and had fun hanging out.

With the family in town we headed to the Lincoln Park zoo to check out the lights. They were so pretty as usual.

It is not appropriate to curl your eyelashes, apply mascara and finish your makeup in the car. YOU ARE SUPPOSSED TO BE DRIVING! You are putting others in danger. If you can’t get your butt out of bed earlier to do you makeup at home than you need to deal with no make up at work.

First Snow!
When I took Riley out on Saturday morning she was so excited to see the snow. She loves to stick her nose in it and sniff as she walks.

On Friday Mike and I had the most amazing dinner at Hugo’s Frog Bar! We had a restaurant.com gift card to use there so we decided it could be our 6 month anniversary dinner. We definitely had a feast!

Thanksgiving
I had a wonderful Thanksgiving. We spent 2 days with Mike’s family. There was lots of great food and many kids running around. There are so many people in the dining room that there literally is no room for more. I told Mike’s mom we might not be able to have kids because there is no room for them on the holidays haha. Its a sad day for baseball and Cubs fans. He was such an icon for the cubs and I wish he would have been inducted into the hall of fame and seen the cubs with the world series in his lifetime.
